The day begins with a journey through the fortress of the Citadel of Saladin which offers panoramic views of the city. Discover the breathtaking Muhammad Ali Mosque where you will learn about the Ottoman architecture. Following that, you will get to explore the bustling Al Muizz Street full of rich history. Visit the eclectic mix of shops and stalls, vibrant colours and lively atmosphere at the Khan El Khalil market.
For lunch, we’ll enjoy authentic Egyptian cuisine at a local restaurant, where you can taste traditional Egyptian flavours and experience warm Egyptian hospitality.Following lunch, immerse yourself in the rich history of the city by visiting the National Museum of Antiquities. Watch ancient royalty come to life in the Royal mummies exhibition room!

PYRAMIDS OF GIZA & THE SPHINX
Starting the day off by meeting an Egyptologist who will guide you through a captivating full day excursion. Starting off with the Grand Egyptian Museum, home of the King Tutankhamun Exhibition. Learn about the famous ruler and ancient artifacts which have captivated historians and travelers alike. Enjoy lunch at the Steigenberger Cairo Pyramids hotel before exploring two of the seven wonders of the world, the great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Marvel at the grandeur of the ancient wonders that have stood the test of time. After dinner, enjoy the evening as you wish—whether relaxing and reflecting on the day’s experiences or taking in the lively atmosphere of Cairo.
If the GEM is not open, we will visit the Egyptian museum of antiquities in Tahrir Square.

KARNAK& LUXOR TEMPLES. THEBES
Today we embark on a morning flight to Luxor, to explore the ancient city of Thebes. Gaze into a window of ancient history as you explore the Karnak and Luxor temples. Board the welcoming Jaz Regent Nile Cruise, our home for the next few nights. Enjoy lunch on board before an afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum, where history and art converge. This afternoon, immerse yourself in the captivating Sound & Light Show at Karnak Temple, where the story of ancient Egypt comes to life in a mesmerizing display.

VALLEY OF THE KINGS
Visit the stunning tombs at the Valley of the Kings. Explore the opulent tombs, including the famed tomb of King Tutankhamun. Then visit the impressive Queen Hatshepsut Temple, one of Egypt’s few female rulers and most successful Pharaohs. Before leaving these ancient wonders, we stop at the giant Colossi of Memnon for photos of these unforgettable sights. Then, we sail towards Edfu, passing through the historic Esna Lock. Spend the afternoon relaxing and revel in the serene beauty of the Nile.
