Your second day in Copenhagen begins with a coach tour through the city, highlighting significant landmarks as pointed out by your English-speaking guide. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the serene Botanical Garden, a haven of natural beauty. Afterwards, visit the renowned Tivoli Gardens, one of the world’s oldest amusement parks, offering a delightful blend of attractions, entertainment, and charming landscapes. The bus will then return the group to the pier in good time for the ship’s departure or the end of the tour.

Enjoy another relaxing day at sea aboard the Celebrity Apex. Spend your day exploring the ship’s luxurious amenities, such as the tranquil Eden room, the vibrant entertainment venues, or the serene adults-only Solarium pool. Unwind poolside at the Main Pool, where the terraced deck offers stunning ocean views. Whether you choose to lounge in the Rooftop Garden, try your luck at the casino, or simply relax and enjoy the Baltic Sea views, today is all about savoring the ship’s offerings and recharging for the journey ahead.

Upon disembarking in Stockholm, your adventure unfolds with a guided tour of the Old Town, revealing iconic landmarks such as City Hall and the Parliament. Wander through the medieval allure of Gamla Stan’s narrow lanes and quaint bungalows. Then, delight in a traditional Swedish lunch at Skansen before delving into the captivating world of Metro Art underground. For a quintessentially Swedish experience, opt for a FIKA break at a local café, where you can savor coffee and a cinnamon bun amidst the city’s lively ambiance.

Today, we tour through the heart of Finland’s capital, Helsinki. Marvel at the magnificent neoclassical architecture of Senate Square, including the impressive Senate Cathedral. Explore the central area, strolling along the elegant Esplanadi avenue and bustling Mannerheim with iconic landmarks like the Congress Palace and Finlandia House. Discover Helsinki’s vibrant culture at the picturesque harbor market and admire the monumental Sibelius Park honoring the Finnish musician.
Delve into Helsinki’s rich design heritage with a visit to the Arabia district, designated World Design Capital in 2012. Later, journey to the historic town of Porvoo, where charming cobblestone streets and colorful houses await. Explore the picturesque Old Town, home to quaint shops and the 15th-century Porvoo Cathedral. We conclude our day and return to the ship, enriched by the beauty and history of Helsinki and Porvoo.

In Tallinn, Estonia’s capital city, our exploration begins and concludes at the harbor. The focal point of Tallinn’s pride lies in its Medieval Old Town, a vibrant hub developed from the 13th to 16th centuries during its prosperous tenure in the Hanseatic Trade League. We’ll meander through the picturesque Town Hall Square, flanked by merchant houses, and admire the majestic Toompea Castle and the graceful St. Nicholas’ Orthodox Church, unraveling the historical tapestry of this captivating city.

In our tour of Visby, the main town on the east coast of the island, you’ll find yourself transported back to medieval times as you wander the cobbled streets. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1995, Visby boasts the best-preserved fortified trading town in northern Europe. From the 12th to the 14th century, it served as the primary center of the Hanseatic League in the Baltic, with buildings and structures dating back to the 13th century. Surrounding the centuries-old center, the Visby City Wall, known as Ringmuren, stands as a testament to its rich history, with towers and gates built between 1250 and 1288, stretching across 3.5 kilometers.

As we sail back to Southampton from Visby, we have two leisurely days cruising the Baltic Sea aboard the Celebrity Apex. These serene days offer a chance to reflect on our journey, sharing stories and enjoying the tranquility of the sea. It’s a time to commemorate the sights seen and experiences shared, as we relax and soak in the beauty of the Baltic coast from the comfort of the ship.

Today we say goodbye to the English countryside and Baltic sea as make our way to the airport for our flight home. Enjoy a private car to your home upon arrival.
